Sound Bath Healing in Broome

An hour where nobody needs anything from you.

By the time everyone else is taken care of, there’s usually nothing left for yourself.

The kids, the partner, the endless list, your work, family, friends. And somewhere in all of that, you quietly moved yourself to the bottom.

Am I right?

A sound bath is the one hour of the week where that stops. You don’t have to organise anything, lead anything, or take care of anyone. You just get to arrive and receive.

Every Sunday morning in Broome I create an intuitively guided sound healing experience using my Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, voice, meditation and other instruments.

You don’t need to know how to meditate or have any experience with sound healing, and there’s nothing you need to achieve. Simply arrive, lie down, get comfortable and receive.

So… what actually is a sound bath healing?

First things first, there’s no water involved. (Yes! I have been asked if it is a bath tub experience!)

A sound bath is an immersive experience where you lie down comfortably while sound and vibration are created around you. I use my collection of 13 Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls by Crystal Tones alongside crystal harp, chimes, rain sticks, voice, toning and guided meditation to create a journey through sound.

Some people come because they want to deeply relax. Others want quiet, space, reflection or simply an hour to themselves. And some are drawn to sound because they’re exploring something deeper within themselves, their intuition, spirituality, creativity or where they’re heading next.

There’s no right way to experience it. You don’t even have to be good at switching your brain off.

Here’s the cool thing, if you’re not good at switching your brain off, sound actually gives your attention somewhere else to go. You just get to receive.

Oh! And if you are wondering “what’s the difference between a sound bath and a sound healing?

Well that’s a matter of opinion and sometimes where you have done your training. In Australia it is most commonly referred to as a sound healing. In the US and other countries it is often described as a sound bath.

I don’t just play the bowls. I listen.

My sound baths aren’t created from a set playlist or sequence that I repeat every week. They’re intuitively guided. I listen to the bowls, the room, the energy and the people in front of me and allow the experience to unfold from there.

Sometimes a sound bath feels incredibly gentle and spacious. Sometimes it feels powerful. Other times a particular bowl seems to want to be heard more than another.

That’s because

No two sound baths are exactly the same because no two groups of people are exactly the same.

What might you experience?

Everyone experiences sound differently.

You might feel deeply relaxed or grounded. You might notice your mind becoming quieter. You might have thoughts, memories, emotions, imagery or creative ideas arise. You might feel connected to something deeper.

Or you might lie there thinking, “Wow I really needed to stop!”

Some people tell me they sleep beautifully afterwards.

Others describe feeling lighter, clearer, peaceful, present or more connected to themselves. And sometimes people don’t have some huge spiritual experience at all. They simply have a really lovely hour and that’s perfect too.

At the end of the day, there is no sound bath exam.  What you experience is unique and personal to you in that moment in time.

Why experience a sound bath healing with me?

I’ve been working with sound since 2019 and have facilitated hundreds of sound baths and thousands of participant experiences through weekly classes, private sessions, retreats, collaborations, corporate and community events and online sound baths.

My background also spans massage, Reiki and energy healing, meditation, yoga, multidimensional quantum healing and years of continued study in sound.

But experience isn’t only about how many trainings you’ve completed.

It’s what you learn from holding space again and again. How to listen and read a room. Know when to play and when not to.

And how to let the instruments support the experience rather than making the experience about the instruments.

Because beautiful bowls matter. But the person holding the space matters too.

SOUNDay Sound Bath

Sunday mornings have become one of my favourite parts of the week. There’s something pretty beautiful about beginning your Sunday lying down, closing your eyes and letting somebody else hold the space for you.

My weekly SOUNDay Sound Bath is held at Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary in Cable Beach, Broome. Come exactly as you are. Bring your busy brain, your tired body, your questions, your curiosity or absolutely nothing at all. You don’t have to do anything with them. For the next hour, nobody needs anything from you.

A few words from people who’ve experienced my sound bath healings

Anna is very intuitive to the energy, day, time and space… Every sound class is different and I always feel safe, welcome and comfortable.

I really needed to chill out and Anna’s sound healing was so beautiful I could feel myself floating to nowhere. I had the best night’s sleep.

Anna creates a warm, safe and welcoming space. I’ve learnt to switch off and slow down my mind and just be in the moment.

Anna is a talented and absolutely fabulous sound healer. She has the most beautiful calming voice. I find sound healing with her is super relaxing and I always leave feeling much lighter and grounded.
