Sound Play: Explore Sound with Crystal Singing Bowls
Ever wondered what it feels like to create the beautiful sounds you hear during a sound bath?
Perhaps you’ve experienced a sound bath and felt curious about playing the bowls yourself.
Maybe you already own a crystal singing bowl but would love some guidance and confidence in how to play it.
Or perhaps you’re simply drawn to sound healing and would like to explore where that curiosity might take you.
Introduction to Sound Healing – Sound Play is a relaxed, hands-on two-hour workshop where you’ll discover the joy of creating sound for yourself and sharing it with others.
Together, we’ll explore crystal singing bowls, learn foundational playing techniques, experiment with different sounds and enjoy the experience of making music without needing any musical experience.
There’s no pressure to get it perfect. This is a space to be curious, try something new and have fun along the way.
What You’ll Experience
During our two hours together, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Learn to play crystal singing bowls, including simple striking and circling techniques.
- Build confidence through hands-on practice, with individual guidance and practical tips.
- Experience playing for others, taking turns creating sound and listening to one another.
- Explore other sound healing instruments, including chimes, and discover the different sounds they create.
- Enjoy a playful group sound experience, bringing our exploration together through sound.
There’ll be plenty of time to practise, ask questions, experiment and explore at your own pace.
This isn’t about learning lots of theory or getting everything right.
It’s about picking up a bowl, discovering what happens when you play it and experiencing the joy of sound for yourself.

What Others Have Experienced
A Note From Anna
I still remember what it felt like to pick up a singing bowl for the first time.
That curiosity about how it worked, the excitement of creating sound and the feeling of wanting to explore more.
Even after all these years of playing and teaching sound healing, I still love discovering what happens when we give ourselves permission to play.
That’s why I created Sound Play.
I wanted to offer a relaxed, welcoming space where you can experience crystal singing bowls for yourself, without needing to know anything about sound healing or commit to a full training.
Two hours to explore, learn, experiment and have a little fun.
Whether you leave feeling more confident playing your own bowl, curious to learn more or simply happy that you tried something new, I hope it’s an experience you thoroughly enjoy.
I can’t wait to share it with you.
Anna xx
Curious to Learn More About Sound Healing?
Perhaps you’re simply looking forward to a fun morning trying something new.
Or maybe you’ve been wondering what it would be like to learn sound healing more deeply.
Either way, Sound Play is a beautiful place to begin.
This workshop is a complete experience in its own right, and there’s absolutely no expectation to continue into further training.
But if it sparks something in you, my Level 1 Sound Healing Practitioner Training offers the opportunity to explore sound healing in greater depth, develop your skills and learn how to facilitate sound experiences for others.
Sound Play is an introduction, not a practitioner qualification or certification.
Sometimes the best way to discover whether something is for you is simply to give it a go!
